Stone Mountain Middle is a Title I school.  This Title I school has a very diverse population.  It is no surprise that the STEM program also has a diverse population of students.  The school provides free breakfast and lunch to all students.  The STEM Team is also inclusive of English as a Second Language (ESOL) and Gifted students on each grade level.  In addition, many STEM teachers hold ESOL, Gifted certification and advanced degrees. The array in teacher credentials enables them opportunities to deliver lessons that are diverse, creative, and innovative.  These skills enable them to deliver high-level learning that give access to 21st century resources.
