School/program provides within-school and extra-curricular opportunities for students to extend STEM learning

Some of our student’s STEM extension highlights include:

  • Participation in GA Air Quality Challenge (Team Emerald and Team Beem placed for the DeKalb County District)

  • Participation in the 2018 DeKalb Regional Science and Engineering Fair (RSEF) Junior Division. Strengths:

Students have the opportunity to be involved in clubs such as Coding, LEGO Leagues, and TSA.

● Students can demonstrate their skills and knowledge through competitions such as SeaPerch, eCYBERMISSION, and Drones.

● Students are able to extend their knowledge and growth through participation in these programs.
